Developing self-esteem and self-respect: tackling your inner world

Self-esteem and self-respect: how well do you know yourself?

Low self-esteem, self-confidence, self-image, self-respect, self-knowledge

These are different terms that are all admittedly related to how we view ourselves. In this article, I launch thoughts on self-respect, self-esteem enhancement and the lack of self-confidence.
How satisfied are we actually with ourselves as persons, our drives and our values? That requires understanding our thoughts and feelings. Call it finding the eigenvector. In mathematics, an eigenvector is something very complex ... but in the absence of eigenvalues, our existence can also be complex.
If you have too high self-esteem, you are more likely to find yourself in situations that get in over your head. Low self-esteem or too little self-respect hinder your growth and development.

Isabelle Roegiers in Image - choosing heart, soul and interior from self-respect

Isabelle often talks about your inner world. Keeping your garden clean. About our "interior". Our interior or your inner world, is the natural projection of our soul. And she brings that into focus.

RTT Practitioner Isabelle Roegiers often talks about your inner world.

Keeping your garden clean. About our "interior". Your self-esteem, self-respect, your person. And how a negative self-image can block us in that case.

Our heart, our soul, . may be vague notions. Until you make those concepts vivid.

Where there is love, there is a heart. That's where power disappears.

Because in power, love is always missing.

Love and power, they illuminate each other.

And if you look closely, you can easily recognise love and power.

If you empathise well, you get to your heart.

If you stay with your heart long enough, you will discover your soul.

The heart, the soul, ... where your self-worth lives and speaks. ‍‍

Knowing what you want and knowing your own style, brings so much "relief"
Naturally, you want to be beaming with happiness. And reflect that too. That your inner world resembles an impressive interior. Where you can enjoy working (hard) on yourself.

How do you discover that self-worth? Tips.

How to get to that inner world? How to increase that self-esteem? How to unravel who you are, what you want, your own style.
And with that, how do you attract the right people?
We can get in touch with our inner world. by, among other things, creating the right conditions in our external world. Even though it is best to depart from the inside, we do relate to everything around us.

Healthy or low self-esteem

Self-esteem is based on how you feel. What grade you give yourself. Our childhood plays a role in the development of our self-esteem. If, as a child, you did not receive a sense of worth or unconditional love, your self-esteem may be low. But predisposition to fears or sensitivity also adversely affect your self-esteem.

If you do not have high self-esteem, you give yourself an inadequate rating. You are then dissatisfied with your performance, your appearance, your role as an entrepreneur, parent or partner. As a result, you make poor choices and stunt your growth. So shaky self-esteem affects your survival and stands in the way of happiness.

So self-esteem has nothing to do with what someone else thinks of you. It has to do with what you think of yourself. And for that, you need the necessary self-knowledge.

Increasing your self-esteem and self-confidence through self-knowledge

Knowing who you are and understanding yourself is important for self-esteem. Did you know that we have more than 50,000 thoughts a day? And that more than half of our thoughts are negatively charged? By becoming aware of this and self-knowledge, we give ourselves the opportunity to turn our thoughts into positives and grow.

Self-knowledge is the ability to be able to assess one's own thinking, the possibilities and impossibilities of one's own mind and body, and to draw rational conclusions from them.

Isabelle her first self-esteem statement:

Our interior or your inner world, is the natural projection of our soul.

Her second self-esteem statement:

We are co-creators of the atmosphere, feeling and success you want to achieve.

You are responsible for creating that internal and external atmosphere, though. And being happy.

Equity in 2023

My prediction is as follows ... Today, tomorrow and all of 2023 will be a healthy and exciting result of the somewhat "bizarre" way of making my life atmospheric.

Isabelle Roegiers zelfrespect en eigenwaarde

The increasing speed, stress and pressure of today's society, can challenge your self-esteem. That's why I take regular breaks. A moment for self-reflection and recreation. To get back in harmony with everything.

Coming home

In Isabelle Willems' interior design shop, I felt at home. During breaks in my life, I reflect on our universal and human needs. Such as; "Harmony", "Balance", "Self-respect", "Self-esteem" and "Silence".
During moments of "recreation", reflection and pause, you find answers that help you form a new kind of well-being. Feeling connected, happy with yourself, while just being somewhere "inside".
There were years when I didn't feel connected at all. That I was far removed from myself. I did not have high self-esteem and low self-esteem. But I worked hard on myself. And still am. To address her inner world and set external conditions. So I was able to come to more harmony and boost my self-esteem.

Meditating ...

Meditating really seems like a must. But there are many other ways to give your inner world a natural feel. With yoga, music, dance, travel, coaching, RTT, sauna, walking, sports... It all helps to build a comfortable foundation. And you finish all that with mindset coaching. And RTT sessions. To learn to control your mind on the one hand to replace the old pictures in your subconscious.

If you don't feel your authenticity, then you can't develop your self-worth and you can't really begin to set yourself apart. Inject your inner space with personality and sociability. With mind made fresh thinking and transparency. Make sure you create clarity inside. That everything has a place. Feel free to incorporate some vintage thoughts. Or an ultimate accent colour for your new natural habitat and spirit.

Your inner museum ...

‍Your museum is a place where emotions and memories meet. But you want to be a surprising creation. You want to be an inspiring collection piece. You want to turn your interior, your inner world and your self-esteem into a masterpiece. Or do you?
Then surround yourself with sophisticated people and sublime thoughts. Thoughts of 'being deeply happy' to 'richly existing'. Admire your new life with a generous gesture of gratitude. Pluck gratitude from age-old spiritual principles. Feel the texture of gratitude. The feel of it. Look at the colour gradient, the transitions, the different depths and dimensions of gratitude. Or go for an understated chic existence. With grand projects. And sprinkle that existence with golden tips, advice and insights. Get them from your source. So imagine yourself in your own museum for a while. Leave the old emotions and memories behind glass. And make room for open space, for creation, for oxygen and imagination. For intelligence and inner work. A high level of respect. A new life.

Her third statement:

Leave old emotions and memories behind the glass. You see and know them, but they no longer overwhelm your life to the extent that you stagnate.

In your museum, you determine the law. Your museum is a journey through time and space. In which sophisticated karma merges with contemporary maximisation of your new actions. In this work, be your own creator. Combine and create, display your treasures and enjoy the beauty around you every day.‍
